The International Cessna® 170 Association (TIC170A) was formed in 1969. The International Cessna® 170 Association (TIC170A) was formed in 1969. We have over 1,000 members who own more than 850 aircraft.
TIC170A was formed to: (per the Constitution)
A. To encourage, aid, and engage in the preservation, improvement, and better understanding of the Cessna 170 aircraft.
B. To foster, promote, and engage in aviation education.
C. To provide a source of information about the maintenance and operation of the 170.
The business of the Association is managed by officers and directors who volunteer their time for the benefit of all members. Several other volunteers include forum moderators, convention hosts, publication contributors, committee members, and those who assist with the conventions. Daily operations are handled by a paid executive secretary.
PLEASE NOTE: TIC170A is a 501(c)(7) association. The Revenue Act of 1987 requires that we advise you that Association dues are not deductible as a charitable contribution. However, depending on your tax situation, your dues may be deductible as a business expense.
