The International Cessna 170 Association (TIC170A) was formed in 1969. We have more than 980 members that own over 1000 Cessna 170s.
The purposes TIC170A was formed (per the Constitution) include:
A. To encourage, aid, and engage in the preservation, improvement, and better understanding of the Cessna 170 aircraft.
B. To foster, promote, and engage in aviation education.
C. To provide a source of information pertaining to maintenance and operation of the 170.
The business of the Association is managed by officers and directors who volunteer their time for the benefit of all members. Several other volunteers include forum moderators, convention hosts, publication contributors, committee members, and assistance during the conventions. The daily operations are completed by a paid executive secretary.
PLEASE NOTE: TIC170A is a 501(c)(7) association. The Revenue Act of 1987 requires that we advise you that Association dues are not deductible as a charitable contribution. However, your dues may be deductible as a business expense depending upon your tax situation.
