World Record Soloing Taildraggers!

Post by dbarron »

Hi all, I am just now getting this on. Thought Id share it though. I am 16 presently, restoring a 54 model back to original quality as well. Anyway, last year, June 25, I turned sixteen and accomplished my goal to solo as many conventional geared aircraft in a day. It ended up landing me in the Guinness world records. It was by far the highlight of my life..! I couldnt believe it to tell you the truth..
I put together a video on youtube @ http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=oOU2M_mkvpk
For the story/press release please visit http://www.aero-news.net/index.cfm?do=m ... f1c4b12c39
The lineup was;
Cessna 170B
Cessna 195
Cessna LC126
Cessna 195 B
Beechcraft C-45H
Beechcraft G-18S
North American AT-6A

Hoping to get some career opportunities possibly come from this..! If you would please spread the word! I would greatly appreciate it!

WOW!

(I thought I'd done something by soloing in 4.4 hours and scoring 100% on my private written. In the next life, I think I'll have to find a different career!) :lol:

Congratulations Dillon,
It is so cool that records can still be set in aviation, with out rockets, or space travel. Way to go!
