Oshkosh, 2011?

Post by Iceman07 »

I applogize if there already a thread for this (I did a search and found nothing), but are there plans for a 170 line at Oshkosh, like last year?

TIA

Rich, in answer to your question, Kent Misegades, who coordinated the C-170's at AirVenture 2010 sent me a note saying the the EAA has invited us back for 2011. The EAA is currently holding 50 slots for us. :D Apparently it is rare to be invited back, but our group was so great they want to have us there again. :o 8O :D

However, Kent has sold his C-170 and needs to turn this - simple - task over to someone else.

So the officers of the Association will be discussing this at the mid-year board meeting the end of February. 8)

In the meantime, if there is anyone who has a burning desire to be the coordinator let me know via email: jwildharber@cessna170.org Kent can provide all the material and EAA guidelines and will be available to help with questions.
