Avcon engine mount to firewall hardware

I need a drawing for the bushings, bolts and washers, for the engine mount to firewall, for my Avcon STC SA 806 CE conversion for the 0-360-A1A . We need the actual drawing so we know what the bolt lengths should be for the firewall attach point, which I suspect are shown in drawing 17013 - I see the Hanger has the Drawing List 17013, but no drawing showing the parts. I had the conversion done in 1978 in Prescott, AZ by Arizona Aircraftsman, and can't find any drawings for it.

I think 17013 is just a list. In any case we have never had anyone of our document donors supply one that is a drawing.

What your looking for is found on page 84 & 85, Figure 49, of the Cessna 170B Parts Catalog. The STC uses the same parts that Cessna used to attach the engine mount to the firewall.

Thanks for all you help on the Avcon conversion info I needed.

I've been putting together a list of stuff I need and where to get it, and have had some trouble looking up a description of what exactly what each part is.

I'm not clear on what a Lord mount is - can anyone describe it?

And can anybody give me a description of what the washers below are, or where I can get a description of the parts? It seems silly to pay prices like $7.83 and $4.16 for a single simple washer just because you don’t know what size it is, so you can find it for a reasonable price, or if we already have one.

"Lord" is the name of the company that manufactures the motor mounts. (Lord Corporation)

My engine conversion has a straight mount whereas I'm guessing what you're interested in is the "Lord " mounts which in your conversion are the Dynafocal mounts which couple your engine to the engine mount. Your engine mount is married to the airframe with standard Cessna parts and AN hardware (otherwise the engine conversion would have had to modify the airframe, something anyone would run away from). The washers are thicker than your standard washers thus the Cessna part number and price.

If you think the washers are expensive, you obviously haven't yet shopped for Lord J-3804-28 engine mounts.

Took a few pics of the rubber bushings and the interior washer, the exterior washers are in use.

Here they are apart. Likely you may want to replace the bushings when the rubber hardens.

My "Del-Air" conversion requires the metal bushings which can be found in the "Seaplane" section of the IPC
