O 300D manual

Post by cnflys »

Does anyone here know where I can find the manual for an 0-300D? I'm looking for a parts / service manual. I have searched on these forums and looked on Continental's website but didn't find it.

The overhaul manual is form x30013 approved 1982. The overhaul manual is the service manual as far as I know. The IPC is form x-30014. It is available from Spruce, Univair and Essco Aircraft (http://www.esscoaircraft.com) in reprint form. It was available from McCurtain in PDF but I don't see it on their website (http://www.mccurtaintg.com). There are a few electronic sources if you do a google search.

I recently found copies of manuals on-line here (via a google search): http://www.7ts0.com/manuals/

Are you sure that the Continental Motors Co. doesnt have them? I'd check with their customer service.

You can get one from Continental. be prepared to pay waaaaaay to much for it and prepare for a 8 month or longer wait.

Hi Gang, I contacted TCM a month or so ago. Spoke with a friendly Customer Service gentleman. Explained my need for C145 OH and IPC Manuals. He informed me that the IPC was not offered for sale, because it is not being updated and the latest OH manual is available for about $80. After some friendly chatter about my 170 restoration he offered to send me the IPC via Email. Wethin a couple of days I had both manuals. So give TCM a call and let them help you out. Dennis

Be cautious when using manuals scanned by others. As in this case, the O-300 IPC for download from the site above is missing 2 pages (6&7).

If an electronic-only copy will do, I just downloaded it for free from the TCM website: http://www.tcmlink.com/pdf2/Maintenance ... X30013.pdf.

It looks pretty decent on an iPad. Kind of oxymoronic to be using a computer to reference a manual for airplanes built in the 50s, but it's tough to argue with free and now over $80 and 8 months.
