Well you guy's did such a fine job helping me to locate the interior panels, And I thank all of you for your information. :)
How about Weight and balance information? :?:
Trying to figure out weight and balance on this 1952 170B, We dont see the information in the maintenance manual.
1. Is the Datum point the firewall , (ZERO)
2. What is the station number for both the Main and Tail wheel?

Thanks
Dave

The AFM (you do have the two page AFM don't you) as well at the Type Certificate Data Sheet (TCDS) says the front face of the fire wall is the datum point. The TCDS also lists points either plus or minus from the datum that equipment is located. Under item 202 you will find the tires at +22 and the Scott 3200 tailwheel at +249.

There are 7 basic sources of information about our aircraft. The Aircraft Flight Manual (two page document required to be in aircraft), Type Certiicate Data Sheet, Aircraft Owners Manual (a multi page pamphlet), Aircraft Illustrated Parts Catalog, Engine Illustrated Parts Catalog, Engine Overhaul Manual and Cessna 100 Series Maintenance Manual '62 and Prior. It is impossible to maintain our aircraft without all of them.
