Byrd's Adventure Center

Pretty easy getting in, getting out looks like you'd wanna' be light and for it to be cool and ~ calm.
Very, very quiet here on a Wednesday in October.

Been there many times. Getting in is relatively easy, if you are comfortable flying very near terrain. Getting out is a bit more of a challenge due to the surrounding topography, but you can fly the valley and gain altitude. I don't recommend trying to get out when hot/heavy.

I was going to add exactly that.
Keep it light and het out before it gets hot, imo.
I was told that is is common to have to wait for the morning valley fog to clear, which was around 9:30 the morning I left.

Overall a nice place to spend a quiet day, during the week.
I'd guess it gets pretty busy on weekends.

Springdale AR has a new restaurant

Upstairs in the terminal

Very good taco truck Mexican cuisine in a sit down restaurant overlooking the nicely active Springdale airport.

Breakfast and lunch, with a nice but not too large to make a decision variety of menu items and quick and cheerful service.

Nice folks at Summit FBO the too, since 8WW needed topped off too, so that we could wander along the scenic route through the Quachita Mountains back home.
