I'm looking for a GOOD sheet metal and paint shop

Post by sea1dww »

Hello

I'm a new owner and I'm looking for a good Sheetmetal and Paint shop in the Pacific Northwest. My "new" '54B needs some TLC. I'm looking to reskin the elevator and whatever else needs work prior to a quality paint job. Any suggestions?

Right around the corner from you, ...one of the best recommendations in the business:
Karl Anderson

Aircraft northwest,

'53 B-model N146YS SN:25713
50th Anniversary of Flight Model. Winner-Best Original 170B, 100th Anniversary of Flight Convention.
An originality nut (mostly) for the right reasons. ;)

OK, we've worked out the sheet metal plan. Thanks for directing me to Karl. Now I've got to find a good paint shop in the Northwest. Any suggestions?

paint shops

Don't use the guys in Yelm, WA. I had them paint a Widgeon in 2000. Within a year, the paint was literally falling off the airplane in large sheets.
