Annual time - blog

Annual time again and I have pulled the flaps and ailerons off to paint the bottom surfaces. So far nothing real big to address at this annual. Also installing new tailwheel leaf springs. I will add more to my blog this weekend.

Dan, the blog is interesting. Good photos with that Brownie camera too. Sounds like last Saturday was about as good as it could have been, unless of course you had taken the 170 out for a spin also. I wish we had the same kind of large group of folks over at GPM. Some really nice folks there, but very little getting together to celebrate special occasions. Guess we need a "clubhouse" for a meeting place. Hangars work sometimes, but a lounge draws more folks, especially on hot or cold days. Hope to see you soon.

Just added a couple new posts to the blog last night! It is a fun airport... alot happening and there is always plenty of hangar flying and.... yes.... food can be found. Should be able to take the 170 out for a spin in about a week. Our next AAA meeting is the 15th.

15th isn't looking too promising for me due to a combo of work related travel and family coming for the weekend (Easter), but if I can I will slip off for lunch. Where is it going to be?

Annual is done... 170 is flying again. Nothing real big on this annual besides the paint.
