elevator trim controlsystem cable overhaul

Post by sanships »

MC050105 cable (from aft to disconnect) ahs been cut at the disconnect end. Local repair shops do not have the facilities to reconnect a new cable to the fittings required to be replaced on the system. Is there a place where i can send the control cables and have them overhauled? All else seems to be in decent condition and I would hate to throw away something that is still good when it need only a minor repair. Thanks!

I have purchased replacement control cables from Beuco in St. Charles Missouri. Good service and speedy service. I just purchased aileron cables from them last month. 636/947-0212.

Mc Farlane Aviation 696 E 1700 Rd Baldwin City, KS 66006 USA Phone: 785-594-2741 Fax: 785-594-3922

But you may find that with shipping both ways, etc., that a new cable from them is just as cost effective, and you'll have an all-new cable.

An originality nut (mostly) for the right reasons. ;)
