Aeromatic Props to be available again after OSH2005?

Post by sanships »

Just went to http://www.aeromatic.com and read the initial pharagraph as follows:

Tarver Propellers Inc.
I AM FINALLY CERTIFIED TO MANUFACTURE NEW AEROMATIC BLADES

After OSH 2005 I will be accepting orders for blades and/or complete propellers for the model F200. I have a request in to the FAA for covering the blades with fiberglass and I am assuming that the FAA will find no reason to delay the request. I will also be making blades for the model 220. These propellers will be factory overhauled hubs with new blades, the same as what Univair offered when they owned the manufacturing rights to the Aeromatic propeller.
Has anyone actually tested these props? I tried to read the old posts and didn't get a solid answer. What rpms can we set it at for takeoff and cruise? Will anyone be ordering?
