Fuel Leak

Post by t7275tr »

I get fuel stains on the wing behind the gas caps. I have replaced the caps with no change. It appears that there is a gasket between the wing surface and the assembly that the cap attaches to. If this is so, anyone know a source for it and a part number. 54 B model.

I also had this problem awhile back, and after I replaced the cap gaskets...fuel was still leaking. It turned out to be the screws around the nozzle openings needed tightening. After I checked and tightened loose ones...no more leaks.
