articles for The 170 News

Post by zero.one.victor »

Looking thru the latest (Q3/04) 170 News, I noticed that there are 2 old articles reprinted from The 170 Book and one from the SRAM book, as well as a reprint of a "source list" that has been in the Flypaper at least once. Something tells me they're filler material, apparently there are not enough new articles being submitted by the membership?
I'm not much of a writer, but last year I scratched out an article for The 170 News about doing a new weight & balance & another about replacing the rudder springs. I'm sure that there are some good articles inside some of your heads, just waiting to be put to paper. How about it? Don't be shy, the people reading it aren't gonna be literary critics, just 170ers like yourself.
I don't know about everyone else, but I kinda prefer "how-to" articles about either wrenching or flying, over descriptions of fly-ins and social activities.
