Best Looking Cessnas

Post by Harold Holiman »

Several comments have been made under the 170 vs 182 topic as to what is the all time best looking series of Cessna's. I think this will make an interesting topic by itself. I'll start it. 1st 190/195, 2nd 145/165, 3rd 170, 4th 180/185 (would tie with 170 except for tail), and 5th 120/140, in my opinion.

Hey Harold. My wife once said that our 170 was just a stepping stone to the 190/195 so we know what she thinks. Of the Cessna line I would go 170, L-19 then all the rest of the tail draggers with the swept tail conversions last.

Harold was right on, except the Airmasters should come before the 190/195. I am proud of you for not leaving them out.

Well.. I have just about the same list...

Airmaster, 195, 170, 140

Here is a picture I took a couple months back of an Airmaster taxiing out behind my 170. Two of the best models of Cessna's in ONE picture!
