Oil Pressure “Sense” line replacement

Post by GAHorn »

Typical type of Letter I get… A shop somewhere has heard of us…. OR has an owner/customer who has …Or is a Member of the Assoc’n…

Anyway… I hope the “typo” in the Salutation isn’t indicative they actually know me….

Hell George
i have a customer with cessna 170 and he informed me that
you can make stratoflex -2 hoses for his oil pressure and fuel pressure
What is the best way to order them from you?
We are located in Canada .

Regards
Vito …..

My response is the same attempt to assist them, Regardless of their stautus as Member or Not… :

Hello, Vito!
There is a miscommunication. I do not make hoses for others.
The -2 hoses for oil pressure etc. which I recommend are mfr’d by Precision Hose Technology using
Stratoflex 193 suitable for air, oil, and fuel up to 300 psi,
and here is their website. They have made these hoses for us under special order.
You will have to supply the length desired and choose the end-fittings you wish.
(i.e. straight -2, or angle, or 90-degree fittigns)
Their products are of excellent quality.

Hope this helps,

Kind regards,
George Horn
