I was going through previous post, found my question but no answer so I ask again since it was 5 years ago. Anyone know the center hole to center hole on part number 0310219-2 the rudder links item 31 figure 65.

And the elevator links 0510160 item 24 figure 67 and 0310431-2 item 31 figure 67.
Thanks for any help. Need to build.

Steve,
Here’s what mine measured. Be good to have someone verify my measurements. The top two are readily available online. There's also a chance that the L-19 shares the same parts. Air Repair would know if part numbers 0660073 and 0660082 for the elevator and 0660601 or 0660600 for the rudder match the C-170B parts. While on the surface it would appear that these simple parts would be ideal candidates to reverse engineer for owner-produced parts I think you’ll be money ahead just buying them. They are part of primary flight control systems — not something that should be replicated lightly. Also, if a crack developed in an elevator link it would be extremely difficult to notice during an annual. What type of steel was used? Was it heat treated? I’m guessing the original had type 1 cadmium plating but don’t really know. OK, I’m probably being overly cautious but it’s something you should consider before fabricating these parts.
