A lovely video just showed up this morning on YouTube featuring member Jeff Tramontano and his gorgeous 170.

Hope this is ok to share, Jeff. You are a wonderful spokesman.

Very nice video. My only comment is that he seemed to be flying in cruise with his feet flat on the floor. Probably a habit developed in the Embraer...

And both hands on the yoke and not touching the throttle on takeoff roll...

I think it a fun video. I have no critiques. Good thing it was a Red airplane. Makes a nice slow flight for the video.

Yes, but... In my Embraer days I was amazed at the people who landed those things in a crab. I was like "Come On, Man!" we're professional pilots right? Flying teaches you so many things about life, and tail wheel flying teaches you so many things about flying. :D

I'm not particularly widely experienced in jets but the swept-wing jet I've flown slips are prohibited. (737, HS125, all citations even the little straight wings)

(crosswind landings excepted but even then cautions are offered) It overstresses their fuselages in most cases and severe slips adverse-roll affects the opposite wing.
