I picked a portion of the story

One of our members reported that BOTH doors would pop open in flight

Happened only when his airspeed reached 120 mph!

Would appreciate hearing a Paul Harvey "Rest of the story"

Obviously a "blue" aircraft, to reach those speeds. Possibly due to lengthening of the fuselage due to the frictional heat generated by re-entry into the atmosphere.

Yes, you are quite right Brian , it’s something that happens with blue aircraft [it’s not a perfect world] .however have a look at the adjustment of that striker bar attached to the fuselage . I had to put a number washers under it to bring it closer to the door catch mechanism. That door locking block can be worn also ,to the point you could make a new one out of a block of aluminium.

Another possibility is worn hinges. Some doors are quite sloppy when the hinges and hinge-pins are mismatched due to wear and/or pin-diameter is small.
