The International Cessna 170 Association

Hello,

I am a new member and very excited about purchasing a 170B in the Raleigh-Durham area. Any suggestions on mechanics I could contact to inspect the plane? I live in Iowa. Other pearls of knowledge would be gladly appreciated as well.

What airplane did you buy? I don't know of too many around there.

I can recommend Ron Murphy at Air Harbor airport to perform the pre-buy. He's worked on my family's airplane for nearly 20 years. I would be happy to position the airplane there, if needed. I live in Greensboro and work in Goldsboro.
