I hope you realize that in order to keep all that pretty paint in good shape on the floor and rudder pedals etc...you're gonna have to fly barefoot! :lol:

I Don't know about legality, but to save some weight discard the metal spring setup and use polyfiber for foam supports. Just wrap and glue around the seat frame top and bottom, then heat shrink snug. No need to put any coating on it as it will be where the sun don't shine, so to speak. Light, easy and very strong. Pretty comfortable too.

Put the square seat backs in, they reduce fatigue and are much more comfortable.
