Alaska bound

Post by flyer170 »

I have been working on my cabin and my computer was down for awhile so I haven't been on the net.
My neighbor and I are leaving for Fairbanks at the first good weather window after July 9. We are ferrying a 1975 Supercub on Bauman straight floats for a person who lives in Fairbanks. Thats the good news, the bad news, I have to leave my 170 at home. We live in Northwestern WI. and our route should take us through Baudett Mn. up west of lake Winnipeg, La Rounge, Lesser Slave Lake, and up the alcan highway to Fairbanks.
Trapper on you on line yet :?: We will be going through the Laird river area.
I haven't figured out my way home yet so maybe I should just wander around Alaska for awhile :D
Is anybody flying back to the lower 48 and need a copilot :?:
I will share expenses and stories.
Any 170 flyers in the Fairbanks area :?: Contacts incase we need a little assistance :?:
Bob aka: no stop, no flop, mud hole jackson
