Another Question ... Wheel Pants

Post by Lee »

The A/C has later style wheel pants ... "bullet" shaped. I would like to go back towards an original shape. I do have 700x6 tires (that's what was installed when I bought the A/C) Spruce sells wheel pants that look like they might fit and be closer to the original shape. Comments or ideas? Thanks, Lee

Matt Lahti makes a nice replacement: http://www.lahtiaerospace.com/prod01.htm

I've seen these at Oshkosh, and they look pretty nice.

Original wheel pants (and any copies) only fit the 600 X 6 tires. Larger tires would require larger pants.

An originality nut (mostly) for the right reasons. ;)

Thought that might be the case ... there is a larger set offered in Spruce ... the other solution is to go back to the original size ... figures ... my tires are almost new! Oh, well ... !
