Fuel Dipsticks

Post by Bill Hart »

With both my C-150 and 182 I had a fuel dipstick. Not that I trusted them explicitly but I trusted them more that the Cessna fuel gauges that were install in the airplanes. Does anything like that exist in the 170 world? I have heard of people calibrating dowels to their specific aircraft has any one done this for the 170?
