Bush 180hp Cnvrsn, motor mount angles, degrees right & d

Post by Chris Christensen »

:( I am rebuilding my 53-170-B which already has the Bush Conversion for a Lyc. 180hp, w/CS prop. Need Motor Mount tweaked in a bit but am unable to get ahold of "Bush Conversions" at all much less find out about the mount off-set anbles. Rumor has it that it is 1 degree down and 1 degree to the right. Any data at all would be greatly appreciated as this has become my show stopper.

Am also putting in the Delair Long Range Tanks and have solved almost all of the problems associated with same in case anyone else is interested.

Harry Dellicker at Delair also has a STC for the Lycoming 180 HP engine with a CS prop. Perhaps he can supply the information you're looking for. I would think the angles you're looking for would be the same on his STC.

Hey Chris, How about giving us some info on Harrys long range tanks. Give us a little bit on what mods you need to make on the wings, and any other mods you need to make. How long did it take to do the mods? Thanks, Jon
