What size fuse?

Post by N2229D »

Can anyone tell me what size fuse should be protecting the SouthWind heater? Mine is un-marked and I want to make sure I mark it with the correct size as well as make sure the right one is in there.
Thanks, Terry.

Terry, don't know about the Southwind heater, but the Stewart-Warner heater is wired with #14 wire and has a 20A fuse.

The model 979-B1 SouthWind heater was manufactured by Stewart-Warner and is the same heater. It uses 14 ga wire and 20 A fuse.

An originality nut (mostly) for the right reasons. ;)
