Tail Inspection Plate

Post by AR Dave »

It took some time for me to figure out the fuss over simply checking the tailwheel cables & pulleys on the later B models. Here's a picture for everyone that's inquired about these inspection plates on my 55.

inspection plates

Dave, do you have the 337 form for those plates? Would you be willing to copy them and send me a set for a fee? I would like to explore the possibility of puting them on my plane, but don't know if we can get it by the Feds anymore. I would appreciate any help you can give. The inspection panel would really make the job easier, and safer. Thank you , Jon

There are two mods in that picture that don't have 337's and the inspection plates are one of them! I havn't seen where they were modified in my detailed plane logs yet. Honestly I'm not looking that serious! Sorry I can't say I have a 337! Maybe I'll look into it someday!
