I just checked out a pretty cool website for online flight planning. I think Bela may have posted something about this one a while back.
http://www.aeroplanner.com
It is apparently a paid subscription show, but you get a free ride if you're an EAA member-- of course, it's not the "E" ticket ride with all the bells and whistles.
I just poked around on the site for a few minutes. I've never done much with this online interactive flight-planning business, so it all seems quite wondrous to me. Just enter your departing airport & waypoint/destination airports (or VOR's, etc), true airspeed, fuel burn, and mother's maiden name (april fool!), and it spits out winds aloft, course & heading, groundspeed, fuel consumed, and time enroute--even TFR's & such along the way. Amazing!

You can get the flight planning information free from http://www.duat.com or http://www.duats.com. Two different outfiits. I usully use the duats one. All you need is your certificate number.

The AOPA flight planner powered by Jeppeson is pretty cool as well and Free to members. Since it's free it doesn't do all the things you would like it to do or act just the way you'd want but it IS free.
CAUTION - My forum posts may be worth what you paid for them!
