170 Owner's Manual Cover Art

Post by Bridge Artfarm »

Hello All,
I am an artist planning a piece relating to the Cessna 170. I would like to see ALL of the 170 ( or any others you have the time and ability to share) Owner's Manual covers. My goal is to get a feel for the factory's personality in the 1940s and '50's. The images you choose to express yourself, gives great insight as to who you are, even a manufacturer. My email is: slbridge@hotmail.com

The association has the 1956 owners manual online. The quality is not good. If you don't have a good scan of the 56 170, I could send you one.

OWNERS MANUAL ART

I have my original owners manual for the 1952 "B" which is the last of the "sloped cowl" and first year of the wing with big flaps. I could possibly photograph it but don't know if the quality will transfer to what you want.
