Have your inspector look at it and make a log entry.

It appears that just the instrument panel metal has been replaced. Typically .125 aluminium sheet replaces the original .125 to pretty up the old gyro holes.

If you look under the panel at the center control T, this is the structure that the aileron cables wrap around, and it looks like a T rather than a Y. It is likely original. Most center stack changes require a later Y design so the radios in the center are not hit by it.

I made a new panel for ‘98C and had it approved with a logbook entry. I kept the uncut original and its overlay for anyone who might want to put it back original.

Thanks guys,

There is a logbook entry for the panel installation. It says "installed new panel". Once I am sure that there was no center control modification I think I will not worry about this one since at least I know when and where it was installed and it is (poorly) documented.

Thanks again for all the help.
