Flux capacitor

Post by ghostflyer »

Well had a great laugh over breakfast so I had to share it with you all .
Plane and Pilot has a video news clipping about a Cessna 182 flipping over on landing at Cranland airport near Boston . It was Boston 25 news reporting on what had happened. The pilot told her [reporter] the cause of the incident was a faulty “flux capacitor”.

Hey.. it can happen...I stopped at the store on the way home and bought a beer. Grabbed the first single can that was within my reach and took it home. It's HOT today so I sat out on the airstrip and enjoyed it. Pretty soon I realized that my flux capacitor was acting up. After looking at the specs on the can, I seen that it was 12% alcohol....and 24 ozs to boot...s#@% can happen, be careful out there. And remember that no matter how bad things can look, you still own a 170...

Yep that was definitely a Fezer valve failure.

Obviously run on 100LL and needed MOGAS laced with MMO.

Bruce, my flux capacitor would stall if it had MMO in it. MMO doesn’t help flux capacitors. One is too modern and the other was used to oil the chariots of Rome.
