Which one is correct for 170A aircraft

Post by tnixonok »

I recently purchased an aircraft which was damaged in a ground loop. After getting it home and starting to sort out the parts I discovered the two wing struts were of different lengths, and had a different shape on one end. First question is which one goes to a 170A and second question, where can I find another correct strut for my aircraft.

Using a tape measure, hook one end over the lower surface of the strut-skin and measure the length of the lower strut surface.
A-models will measure approx. 90-1/4", while B-model struts measure approx. 91-1/4".
