I’m checkride complete at the new job, and I’m going to try my best to get out for a day or so. I’m looking forward to seeing everyone! Cross your fingers that I won’t be called out early for IOE.

Incoming !!!.
Had to wait for weather to clear so I could cross the coastal mountains this morning. Landed at Dorthy Scott to clear customs and for a top off. Flew over Spokane, past Mullen’s pass but ran into a wall of rain at Thompson falls 20 mins away from my planned overnight in Missoula. Back 40 mins to Spokane Felts field, its only gas. Weather doesn’t look good tomorrow or Monday. Here’s hoping I get there and hoping others have better weather in front of them

I will be arriving Tuesday Morning along with member Jared Haddock and his new airplane, N3934V. A beautiful 48 Ragwing he has now owned for 2 days. We are on our way back to Washington. Where I’ll finish installing my newly overhauled engine.

Good news and bad news.

Good news first - I have to go to work Thursday where I can touch a real airplane for the first time.

Bad news - This doesn't give me enough time to make it to Cody this year.

I'm a weird mixture of disappointed and excited. I feel confident that I can make it next year, since I'll have quite a bit more pull with making my own schedule. I'm sorry for getting hopes up, and I look forward to meeting everyone soon!

Had a great time in Cody, thanks Lolly, Jim and the membership.
Sorry I left early but it was the only way I was going to get home in time to be back at work. Looks like the weather will remain unfavorable for more than a few days, likely if I had stayed I wouldn't have gotten home for another week.
Every year the membership gets a chance to see at a convention, what it takes to keep the association functioning for all. Thanks to everyone, I certainly appreciate their efforts.
Finally thanks to our forum moderators, not easy to have their wheels constantly on the clock. Taking the good with the bad, they do a thankless job of keeping the website operational for all. Thanks Dale, Bruce and George.

We are coming back for some more fun . See you guys at the next convention. Now to save up some money after that auctioneer made my wallet lighter. He is so talented.

Yes, thank you Jim, Lolly, Jan and all the other members. You made a first timer feel very welcome. I'm looking forward to the next one. And I agree with David - Wyoming and Montana are really beautiful. Great people in a great location!
