Looking for Exhaust system parts for 1953 170B

Postby Santana86 » Wed Sep 11, 2019 7:21 pm

I'm looking for a RH exhaust assembly for my 170 (Serial 25737). Also, interested in a tail pipe for the LH exhaust.

Part numbers:
0550157-34 (RH assembly)
or
0550157-27 (RH Shroud assembly)
0550157-33 (RH tail pipe)
and
0550157-4 (LH tail pipe)

Please let me know if you have one you'd like to sell or if you can point me in the right direction.

Thank you,

Paul

Highly recommend AWI!

Charlie sure helped me out in June. Ina and I were flying a 160hp amphib Super Cub from West Palm Beach, FL to Port Alsworth, Alaska when the end of the muffler blew out before stopping at Ames, Iowa. I called AWI, 200 miles north on I-35 in Minneapolis.

Although he didn't have a finished muffler on hand, Charlie said he had a core and would have it ready by the time I drove up there. I rented a car and 4 hours later I had the new muffler and was headed back to Ames. We were back in the air the next morning. Service doesn't get any better than that!
