ISO Compass Card Holder

Postby Ryan Smith » Wed May 08, 2019 12:52 am

Looking for the smaller rectangular compass card holder used from 1948-1952 on the piano key panels. Anyone have one laying around collecting dust? My dad tossed ours during the interior installation about 15 years ago.

Isn't this what your looking for: https://www.aircraftspruce.com/catalog/ ... ckkey=7360

The original Cessna might be different if your splitting hairs.

Quite a bit different, unfortunately.

That’s exactly what I’m looking for, Shawn.

Surely there are some folks out there who aren’t originality inclined. 8)

Ryan,
I thought you had found a compass cover as illustrated in Fig. 76. Was the card holder removed from it?

I don’t want to cannibalize that if I can help it. I’m not planning to use that right now.

I owe George a six pack of his special girlie beer. Preferred was the ticket! Not sure why I didn’t think of them. They’ve had some rare goodies that I’ve gotten from them in the past. Thanks, George!
