Maintaining a 170?

Post by Busdriver »

Thinking about buying an airplane and was considering a 170. How hard is it to find parts and mechanics to work on them nowadays?

Same as a early 172

They are the same aircraft as a early 172 with the wheel in the right place.

Thanks for the responses. And you're certainly correct about the location of the nose wheel! An ad for a 170 has appeared on the bulletin board at work so it's off to write down the particulars!

Thanks again.
