STOL kit contents

Post by VernH »

53C has a STOL kit that, I believe is Midwest which I think became Horton? Anyway, I have come across some original metal wheel pants and wondered if the STOL STC included wheel pants other than the original type?

Thanks in advance

I would be VERY surprised to find any STOL kit including wheel pants. Wheel pants are, well, anti STOL. Short Take Off and Landing (STOL) usually does not include the smoothest of landing zones. Many require larger tires than wheel pants can accommodate.

The shortest takeoffs and landings are on dry, hard-surfaced runways.
