Cessna 170 Convention

Post by 170C »

We are scheduled to fly on Tuesday, June 11 from Newton (EWK) to Beaumont (07S) for breakfast, then fly to Augusta (3AU) where we will form a group to fly (?) to Pawnee Field. Where is Pawnee Field & its identifier?
My best guess is we are going to Cessna Airport (CEA) some 6 miles away. Need to clarify this as the only Pawnee Airport I find in KS is northwest of Huchinson (HUT) and we wouldn't be going there from Augusta.

There will be a briefing on the morning of the flight. My understanding is the Pawnee airport is closed to the public so that may explain why it's not easier to locate.

Maybe we are going to drive over to the Pawnee Airport. Seems like that may have been mentioned earlier

Re-read the Flypaper Frank... after Beaumont we fly to Pawnee for the pic.
