Rudder Pedals

Has anyone heard tell of the L19 folding/stow-able rudder pedals being installed in a 170

Lots of monkey motion going on with stowable pedals.

A system out of a C180 or C185 might be more compatable with the 170.

The L-19 system of stowable pedals would not work because the whole shaft that the pedal is attached to unlocks and swivels. Also the brake actuating system is totally different.

The C-185 Service Manual refers to the rudder pedals as "stowable". The 180/185 IPC refers to them as "disengaging".

Yes, copilot stowable pedals were an option on later 180/185s.

Curious what your interest is in stowing the pedals.

I am curious too!

What do you have in mind?

The fact that stow able Co-Pilot pedals were an option on some 180s 185s is a surprise to me.
Thinking to prevent front seat passenger inadvertently causing a landing excursion.

What about a nice lady with slender long legs and High heels.
