Original equipment list needed

Post by sethkirk »

Our DAR is nearly finished helping us get our airworthiness for 26619 N9217A. Only paperwork we’re missing is an original equipment list, and an original w&b. Any guidance on where to get this information. We will need to obviously get a new current w&b as we have many stc’s And field approval items as well on this rebuild. Thanks in advance for any help. Can’t wait for the runway to firm up and get out there. Loved having so many of you last August at the farm for our 170 assn. fly-in. Thanks for the great article in the 170 magazine.

I wonder why the requirement of the original equipment list and W&B?

Make a new list with what your aircraft has now which you will need for the w&b.

Or maybe you just want a copy of a typical equipment list to get you started with the current list.

This is what an original W&B work sheet and equipment list looked like in '49 for the A model. I don't believe it changed much in later years.

Call Cessna and pay for a document search. It’s not expensive.

Textron now owns Cessna and they have a publications dept which might help you.

You can also register at their website and obtain direct-access to some publications, support, etc..
Hope this helps.

If you don't mind, what was the cost for these documents?

I wouldn't think of calling Cessna given the prices most of their parts. Most of us wouldn't.
