Oilite bearing

Post by Kurt Aichele »

Considering replacing the Oilite bearings on the rudder bar for our 1948 170. In the C170 parts manual, page 43, figure 22, item 43. The part number shows them as a 0411548, which crosses to a new number of S1003-43A. Found them online with a minimum purchase quantity of 10. Only need 4. Does anyone know of the Oilite number or a source for a quantity of 4? Thanks.

Holy-Cow is right!...over $2-GRAND...??? Anyone needing the complete rudder bar let me know. I've got a beautiful set in overhauled, cad-plated, painted condition ready for install. Since seeing this ad I'll post them in TradeMart.

Thanks! I'll give a few of the vendors listed on Controller.com a call tomorrow for prices/availability. Over 2K for the rudder bar IS crazy!!
