Float Kit drawings

Post by bagarre »

Does anyone have a set of drawings/documentation to install a float kit in a 170?
I have all the parts collected but no supporting paperwork just yet.

Depending on the model, I sent a copy of my float kit install drawing that I received from Cessna to the association via G. Horn .The only snag was that the drawings where specific to my serial number, 1955 170b. Check with the association, as I thought I still had a copy around here, but am unable to locate it or I would send it

I sent my drawings from Cessna to the club years ago. If you cannot get them I can supply them.

Bill, I had your drwgs scanned to a pdf file and emailed to a Member recently. I also thought I'd posted them but will follow up to be certain.

Here it is (Edo 2000s): http://cessna170.org/forums/viewtopic.php?f=40&t=13825

How difficult was it to acquire the parts?

I got mine out of a bone yard from a wrecked bird with a float kit.
