The real value of wheel pants is the fresh cow patties don't sling off the tires onto the bottom of your wing.

But it will still kick out the front and squirt up to the windshield. I took off from Tom Benedict's ranch near Roswell, New Mexico right behind Bob Coats in 2007. When we landed in Artesia for fuel a few minutes later, the right side of Bob's windshield was totally obscured with "green goo".

I don't mind washing the windshield, I just don't like looking up while washing under the wings! :D
