Angle - Tailwheel Bracket - Lower / Upper Re-inforcement

Post by Sask170b »

Hello, can anyone tell me whether the L-19 Birddog Part # 0612119-1 and 0612119-2 (Angle Upper Re-inforcement) also 0612120-1 and 0612120-2 (Angle Lower Re-inforcement) are structurally the same as C-170B part numbers 0512119 and 0512119-1 and 0512117 and 0512117-1 . I understand that these Angle pieces can be fabricated however I thought if I can find them already made for the L-19 I would go that route. I have attached the L-19 parts Manual as PDF. While I'm asking where, or how do I acquire a Tail skin PN 0512000-80? Thanks in advance Mike

I have been looking for that similar parts myself and that right angle reinforcement is sold by Spruce Aircraft parts in lengths. This is not gospel info as it has just been told to me by one of my mechanics. To get the story straight it's a aluminium extrusion with one edge with bulb shape.its used in other places in the fuselage .

I rebuilt my 170A tailcone from the bulkhead (#1) all the way back, including #15 and #18 with L-19 parts and others from Air Repair. I have some info on those angles .Send me a PM if you like and we can discuss over the phone.
