AN884 hose sizes

Post by brianm »

So I was out flying Friday and my generator failed. We had been planning on rebuilding the mags and carb, so we took them off while we were in there and everything is shipping out today. This seems like an ideal time to take care of a whole bunch of fuel system related todos: Drain and flush the whole system, clean out the gascolator, replace the slightly drippy sump drains, replace the gascolator-to-carb hose, replace the right wing tank-to-tank hoses, change out the fuel gauge floats, check the gauge calibration, check my fuel stick calibration, and do whatever else I find when I'm in there. Man, these lists grow. I'm using the IPC to write up my my shopping list. I see AN884-16-8 hose for the intertank fuel lines. The intertank vent line uses an A3122-12-59 clamp, a piece of 7/16" Transflex tubing, and two pieces of AN884-6-11 hose. What are the current equivalent of those parts? I can't for the life of me find something that says "AN884 equals ...".

AN884 should be similar to 306 hose.
If you google AN884 and pull up WIck's ad they reference 306.
