C145 inner cyl baffle direction

C145 inner cyl baffles have a short and a long leg. There is a right and a left baffle so either the short leg goes toward the front of the engine or the long side does.

Which way is correct is the question of the day.

I think you would want the long sides on the outer cylinders. If you point them to the inner cylinder, I think they would touch or overlap restricting all the airflow over the inner cylinder. I'll have to look at mine again when I'm at the shop.

Bruce, I just checked with Airforms who I got my kit from. With the little tab pointed to the case, the large "legs" should point aft towards the firewall.
