Control yoke grommets

Post by rickjfly »

We are building a flight simulator for a local high school aviation program. We need 4 of the yoke grommets. Does anyone have some used ones ? and willing to pat with them?

By yoke grommets, you mean the white plastic ball with a hole in it? If so McMaster Carr sells 1 1/2" balls that could be drilled for $3.58 ea. I don't think the 1" would work but they are $11.43 for 10.

Alternately, because you don't need then certified, they could be easily cut by someone to size with a lathe and a ball turner. I don't have a ball turner or I could help.

Of course perhaps someone has a stash of 4 of these used and not needed.
CAUTION - My forum posts may be worth what you paid for them!
