Scott/Alaskan Bushwheel Tail Wheel Hub Nuts P/N 33478-202

I'm guessing that a lot of you already know this, but I didn't see it anywhere on the forum when I looked it up a week or so ago. So I thought I would post this info now it so others like me can find it in the future.

My annual is coming up and I'll be re-packing my Scott tail wheel bearings. So thought I would buy some so extra hub bolts (AN4-7A) and lock nuts (Scott and Alaskan Bushwheel p/n 33478-202) to have on hand in case I need to replace any of them. Well, it turns out that the Scott/ABI 33478-202 lock nuts are just AN365-428A/MS21044N4 fiber lock nuts -- nothing special about them. At least that's what Spruce sent when I ordered the "special" Scott/ABI lock nuts by the special part number. Fortunately, Spruce does not charge extra for them -- they are the same price as the AN365 lock nuts at 13 cents a piece. So if you already have AN365-428A's don't bother buying 33478-202 lock nuts.
