Try keeping your weight and blood pressure down by not eating, bread, pasta and pizza. Have you ever noticed how America got fat when everyone started eating pasta, pizza and fast food hamburgers in the 60's? Also: In theory:The 8O 8O $100 Hamburger could be a bit cheaper without the roll.

I doubt the pizza is near the culprit as the "Super Size Coke" that goes with it.

BL-
You hit the nail on the head, all I did was quit using sugar in my iced tea and coffee. In 6 weeks I lost 10lb and 30 points Glucose on my blood test. The tea tasted awful for about 3 months but I like it unsweet now.

Avoid processed foods and get off the sofa. (now everyone knows my secret to the "successful look".)

Or maintain your current habits and find out that your BMI ≥40 at your next medical and get liposuction to prevent having to wear a CPAP mask. I believe a BMI of 40 is the threshold for approval for weight loss surgery.

Hard work is so 20th century.

My family never made overly sweet tea in the first place, so adjusting to the Midwestern standard of unsweetened wasn't a huge hurdle.

Hard work "was" so 19th century. Everyone is right about the soda. However; I can't eat a submarine sandwich without having my waistline increase immediately.
