Re: Need some insurance references, please

I have my Pathfinder and 170 insured with the James A Gardner Company. They are kind to tailwheel pilots and my experience with them has been great. Customer service and pricing are very good.

Re: 170 Activity in Apalachicola FL

Well, i'm only a couple hours away. Never been to Apalachicola airport before. Might be a fun trip. When in April are you planning on going? I'm always looking for a new place and excuse to go fly somewhere i've not been before.

Re: Smart Phone Apps

I have an ipad and foreflight. Its the reason i purchased an iPad. I love foreflight and use it for my preflight planning. I don't use it much in the airplane as i still use paper charts. When i'm on the ground foreflight is an excellent application and fun to play with thinking of all the places i ...

Re: Flying to this year's convention

I've already got it laid out. :D

I usually do like you say.... It seems though that being self employed while having its benefits keeps me at work more often than not. Last years calendar, i had several trips that i canceled on the way to the airport.

Gonna work towards this trip. :)

I'm gonna try to make it. With work though hard to plan that far ahead. Would be 1000 miles for us. Sounds like great fun!

Re: B.A.S. Tail Pull Handle

Single person ground ops would be very difficult with my hangar situation without the BAS tail pull.

I'd love to have a tailwheel transporter thing but their website doesn't mention the 170 as being compatible.

Re: Blocking N number from flight tracking websites

I"ve only shown up on Flightaware VFR when flight following and I get handed off to a Center.

I'm likely to submit for blocking on both my planes.
