Second Venturi
Just curious about a 337 I found in the library here concerning the addition of a second Venturi. Why add a second Venturi?

Re: Wiring Question
That's a clever install George. I think that's the way to go. I was trying to figure out where to put two additional switches. As Mies van der Rohe stated - Less is More. I will eventually move up to halogens, when I can afford it, and I do want the wig-wag because I believe in the safety they provi...

Re: Wiring Question
Thanks guys. I haven't studied up much on LEDs due to their initial cost. We were going to use LED spotlights on a border crossing station, which would have saved $$ in the long run, but the sticker shock was too much. Eventually they have to get cheaper.... My intent is to install a wig-wag/pulse s...

Re: Wiring Question
Oh duh...yes, you're right...Ok, so plan B is solved, if I need to stick with two lights.
Any ideas on the 4-light scenario? I'm guessing my 35 Amp generator just won't handle it?

Wiring Question
Bear in mind I have been concentrating on other problems and haven't become operationally intimate with my 170A. My question is related to adding the second light on the right wing. I have a 337 that I will copy and submit, which will hopefully be approved. It is from a C-172. I am looking at a phot...

Re: Winterization plate outline request
Sorry Bruce. I should have included a written description of the part when I posted it.
I still haven't found any other part. I know the previous owner had them all together in a ratty box. I hope I didn't pitch them....

Re: Winterization plate outline request
The part was scanned, flat on the scanner bed. I didnt have time to trace it, but i will and can then scan that for you. I would like to find the rest of the parts. Clutter abounds...

Re: Winterization plate outline request
I think I have them in the garage. They would be for the 170A, from 1950. I'll take a look here soon and get back.
Edit - this is what I have. I have seen the rest, somewhere. Is this what you need?

Anyone in the Tampa / Orlando Area?
Hey All, My wife and I are taking our daughter to Orlando for her birthday in February. The two of them are leaving earlier than me, by a week or so. Our friends live near Tampa and we all fly into and out of Orlando. I was thinking of renting a car so as not to burden our friends with two trips, bu...

Re: Aft Tail Skin Fabrication
Looks great. Just a quick question. Were you able to just wrap it around the bulkheads or did you need to use a roller? Thank's, Tim Good question. I thought we would just form it around the two bulkheads. But it was put into a roller, first straight down the center, then the piece was rotated to f...

Re: Aft Tail Skin Fabrication
It is a very valuable education, indeed. Moreover, Jim is not allowing me to cut corners and it will be a complete restoration of this assembly. I would have been happy to simply repair the assembly, but Jim is very convincing. I'll post photos of the finished product. Maybe I can convince Jim to po...

So how much do they cost anyway? Does anyone have a photo of the install? Thanks, Shawn
